What is a digital vignette?
A digital vignette is an electronic road-use permit linked to your licence plate. There's no sticker to place on your windscreen — road authorities check your plate against the register automatically.
How long does it take to become active?
That depends on the country. Some vignettes are active within minutes of payment; others have a short mandatory waiting period before they kick in. You'll see the exact activation time before you pay.
What happens if I enter the wrong licence plate?
Contact support as soon as you notice — most providers allow a correction within a limited window after purchase. Once the vignette period has started, changes usually aren't possible, so it's worth double-checking the plate before checkout.
Can I get a refund if I don't end up using it?
Refunds are possible if you request one before the vignette becomes active. Once it's active, it generally can't be refunded, since the road-use right has already been issued. See our Refund Policy for the details.
Do I need a vignette for every country I drive through, or just where I'm going?
Just for the countries where you'll actually be driving, including any you're only passing through. Countries in this system don't recognize each other's vignettes, so if your route crosses several borders, you'll need one for each.
